I receive an html file report each day which is in the same format each time although the number of lines may vary.
I need to complete some analysis of the data including number of non blank lines, the number of times a particular description appears etc.
What's the best way of doing this? Loading into Excel and performing this task involves a lot of editing by me so I was looking for a better way - if there is one.

Reply:thier are many free software programs on the net to do this. the seach for a word like microsofts word does. the line number the html and also highlight the key words and tags to html. just google eclipse.
