There are several web certificates offered by the HTML Writers Guild. I've heard that the classes are excellent, but not by people who, like myself, have no expereince in the field and are looking to transition into it.
Can a web certificate from the HTML Writers Guild make me marketable enough for a job as a web professional?
You need much more than just HTML to be a web professional.
php, javascript, flash and sql are just a few things that are neccesary to really be a 'pro'
Reply:No u can't, Html is the base for any web professional, but while tools like Dreamweaver do all work for you, you need more than HTML.
You need Javascript, and any Development Language like ASP, ASP.Net, or PHP..
If you r not intersting in Development you need Photoshop and Flash (swift is ok for starting) to be Web Designer Who Create interactive websites
Good Luck..
Reply:Only HTML expert wont give u any prospect job in fact . Better Try to achieve Zend PHP Certification that will ensure jour job in IT field .
Reply:You don't need any degree or certificate to find work in WWW production. All that is required is for you to be competent and capable ... and it helps to have a portfolio of example work to show prospective employers/clients.
